This is a list of some great data that isn’t surveyed from government organization. Some sources may include primary government data along with other non-government data.
Opportunity Insights
Harvard University
Opportunity Insights is a nonprofit research organization that primairly reseraches effects on mobility across the US. They are most well known for their economic mobility mapping tool the Opportuntiy AtlasThis is the database I used for my senior capstone class in undergrad.
Gapminder
Gapminder is an independent Swedish foundation that has compiled a bunch of national level data to compare trends between countries over time. A fun example of how they track trends is from one of their visual guides that illustrates over 200 years of income level data!
Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)
The OECD is a NGO that studies economic conditions across the 38 member countries. Here is a quick link to their GDP per Capita data!
