February 25, 1791 First Bank of the United States
Jun 3, 1864 National Bank Act The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) is created.
Jul 2, 1890 Sherman Anti-Trust Act
Dec 23, 1913 Federal Reserve Act The Federal Reserve System (Fed) is created, encompases the Federal Reserve Board of Governors and the twelve regional banks.
Feb 27, 1932 Glass-Steagell Act First installment.
Jun 16, 1933 Banking Act of 1933 The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is created to insure bank deposits.
